Revenue and Expense Tracking

The income information contained in the reservations automatically feeds the Projected P&L and other reports in the system. Expense information can be input and tracked by property, allowing you to easily and accurately determine profitability. Expenses can be recorded by category in three convenient ways:

 

  • One-time expenses such as repairs, purchases and carpet cleaning.

 

  • Automated set-up of expenses that occur with each reservation such as linens, house cleaning and pool cleaning. You input the expense once, and the system will apply it when the guest stay occurs.

 

  • Automated set-up and application of expenses that occur on a scheduled pattern such as quarterly expenses, HOA fees, lawn care that may occur every three weeks. This “scheduled pattern” automation of recording expenses works much like you schedule a recurring meeting in Outlook.
