The information that is recorded for reservations drives many of the other capabilities. In addition to the basic information you would expect such as renter name, contact information and arrival and departure dates, here are some examples of the robust tracking and automation this part of the system provides:

• Dashboard metrics such as total number of reservations, total dollars and total nights reserved for the year

• A point in time trend comparison of reservations this year versus last year.

• Total rent amount and partial payment information by reservation.

• Automated confirmation emails are sent to renters upon reservations and payments received. 

• What the reservation includes, such as pool, hot tub, linens, etc. This information drives the scheduling of maintenance services by third parties.
